Art that brings light

On Friday, May 31, we had the honor of hosting some of the most famous Ukrainian artists as part of the opening the painting exhibition “Art that brings light”.
The association for Ukrainian culture in Dalmatia “Cvit” with the help of “Art Salon Veles” and the famous Ukrainian artist Oksana Gegedysh enabled Ukrainian artists to present the art culture of Ukraine to the Šibenik audience.
Those present were greeted on behalf of the city of Šibenik by Paško Rakić, who noted that he was happy to respond to this invitation in order to support the efforts and art of people who are currently going through what the Croats were going through not so long ago.
Ms. Tetiana Paviluk, on behalf of the “Cvit” association, thanked everyone for their support and noted that each of us has an impact on this world: “With our dreams, aspirations and actions in our lives, we can change our environment.” That’s why we strive for beauty, bring light to people and make the world a better place!”
She also thanked the artists who, despite the difficulties of the war, continue to strive to create beauty, give emotions and enrich the cultural and spiritual world. Likewise, she wished them peace, joy and the victory of light over darkness and gave them a sculpture of St. Michael, the saint patron of Šibenik, which the artists will take with them to Ukraine.
