Trio Elogio
On Monday, October 28, in a crowded multimedia hall, the Šibenik audience was introduced to the Trio Elogio.
The trio was founded in 2009 by three musicians who studied under Prof. Darko Petrinjak at the Zagreb Academy of Music: Petrit Çeku, Pedro Ribeiro Rodrigues and Tomislav Vukšić. Although they came from the unique so-called Zagreb Guitar School, they come from different backgrounds, which further emphasizes their own musical and cultural diversity. In their repertoire, they pay special attention to Croatian composers, but also respect the historical aspect of great orchestral compositions, combining them with contemporary compositions. Trio Elogio persistently invests in the preservation of Croatian cultural heritage, so they made one of their contributions with a donation concert for the renovation of the Gvozdanović Palace organized by the Museum of Arts and Crafts and Croatian Radio and Television.
They have performed at significant international festivals, as well as at music festivals and cycles throughout Croatia.
