Towards St. Michael 2023.
In anticipation of the celebration of the feast of St. Michael, on Thursday, September 28, the traditional exhibition of works submitted to the competition of children’s creativity “Toward Saint Michael 2023”, which was organized this year by the Catechetical Office of the Sibenik Diocese and the Catholic elementary school, was opened.
The competition was organized with the aim of making children more familiar with the religious and cultural heritage of their city and diocese, as well as more active involvement in the diocesan celebration of the feast of St. Michael. This competition produced 110 works on which 290 children and 51 mentors from 9 kindergartens and 19 primary and secondary schools of the Šibenik Diocese.
The participants were: kindergarten Maslina – Tribunj, kindergarten Smilje – Ciciban, kindergarten Šibenska maslina – Vidici, kindergarten Žižula, kindergarten Skradin, kindergarten Ribica – Jezera, kindergarten Blažena Hozana, kindergarten Brat Sunce, kindergarten Spužvica – Tisno/PO Školjkica – Betina, Braće Radića – Bračević Elementary School, Ivan Duknović – Marina Elementary School, Blizna Elementary School, Petar Krešimir IV Elementary School, Dubrava Elementary School, Juraj Šižgorić Elementary School, Tin Ujević Elementary School, Faust Vrančić Elementary School, Meterize Elementary School, Dr. Franje Tuđmana Elementary School, Domovinske žahvalnosti Elementary School, Vrpolje Elementary School, Perković Elementary School, Vidici Elementary School, Ražine Elementary School, Catholic Elementary School, Rogoznica Elementary School, Antun Vrančić Gymnasium, Technical School and Lovre Montija Elementary School – Knin.
Six works of art were awarded.
The exhibition remains open until October 15, and admission is free.
