Šibenik Tourist Board, Civitas Sacra – Interpretation Centre of St. James Cathedral and the Brotherhood of Saint James Croatia invites you to the promotion of the book “My Way – Camino” by Irena Kovačić, which will take place in our Interpretation Centre on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m.
In 2019, Irena Kovačić, a brave pilgrim and author, set out on a journey of 800 kilometers along the Camino de Santiago, a road better known as the French route. After a year, she decided to share her unforgettable experience through her travelogue called “My Way Camino”. In this inspiring work, she describes her 31-day journey for which she thoroughly prepared, sharing her experiences, preparations, decisions made and deep thoughts.
This fourth edition of Irena Kovačić’s book testifies to her exceptional talent and inspiring nature, culture and heritage, which serves as an incentive and motivation for future pilgrims.
As an active member of the Brotherhood of St. James Croatia, Irena promotes the Camino with a special emphasis on the Camino Croatia route, of which the Camino Šibenik is a part.

The Camino Šibenik project was realized in cooperation with the TB of the city of Šibenik and the Brotherhood of St. James – official Croatian representative in the central and oldest Camino institution – the Confraternity of St. James in Spain, with the support of TB Marina, TB Rogoznica, TB Primošten and TB Vodice.
