Opened exhibition: Love is the meaning of life
“Love is the meaning of life” is the name of the exhibition opened on February 4, 2021 in the gallery for occasional exhibitions within the Interpretation Centre, whose authors are students of the Technical School Šibenik under the mentorship of religious teacher Marina Galić.
With this exhibition, the students wanted to mark the International Day of Life, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1948, which has been celebrated in Croatia since 1996, when the Croatian Bishops’ Conference designated the 1st Sunday in February as “Day of Life”.
The exhibition consists of photographs and drawings, and photo devices – from the oldest to mobile phones as a new photographic device. Through photographs, the students showed how they see love in life – towards their neighbor, nature, talents and God, while the drawings show all phases of life, from creation to the stage of independence.
In addition to photographs and drawings, there are also thoughts and quotes, and after visiting, each visitor has the opportunity to write what the meaning of life is for him.
The exhibition remains open until February 9, and admission is free.
