Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the Blessed Hozana Kindergarten in Šibenik
The Blessed Hozana Kindergarten in Šibenik is run by the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Guardian Angels. The idea of opening a Catholic kindergarten alongside the Catholic Elementary School originated with Bishop Ante Ivas and was realized on August 20, 2016, with the opening of this branch. The kindergarten was blessed by the then newly appointed Bishop Tomislav Rogić and began operations on September 1, 2016, with two groups of children. Today, the kindergarten has a total of four groups.
To mark the 10th anniversary of the kindergarten’s operations and its annual celebration day, an exhibition of children’s artwork titled “Blessed Ozana Through the Eyes of a Child” is being organized for Monday, April 20, starting at 5:15 PM, followed by a special lecture titled “The Dominican Sisters and Šibenik – Together Since the 15th Century” by Dr. Ivana Armanda on Tuesday, April 21, at 5:30 PM.
Admission to both events is free.
