Fan

Last night, the premiere of the film “Fan” was held in the gallery space of the Interpretation Centre.
It is a short feature film shot as part of the Vidici elementary school project “Vidički tići skakuću Europom”, and about 60 school children participate in it as part of a film group led by history professor Zvonko Madunić.
The film once had its premiere, but this time the viewers could watch the film with German subtitles for the first time.
It was translated into German due to the large number of Croats in that area, and it is dedicated to Hans-Dietrich Genscher and Helmut Kohl, who are responsible for the recognition of Croatia.
The translator of the film into German was prof. Diana Maričić.
The plot revolves around a fan who lives on Danilo near Šibenik, and when he loses an eye in a conflict, he turns to studying the history of Danilo.
After the screening, students Stipe Belakušić, the main actor in the film, then Ina Vlahov, the main cinematographer, and Luka Goleš, the main editor, greeted the audience. All of them testified that they really enjoyed shooting the film and that it was a wonderful experience for them.
Professor Madunić said that the point of the film revolves around choosing whether to live for applause or for life, and he emphasized the importance of the return of evicted Croats to their homeland, that is, how important it is to return life to Croatia and not applause.
He concluded that working with children, he realized that children are capable of doing anything, they just need to be given the opportunity to do it. He notes that the film “Fan” was made by children, but it is intended for a more serious audience, and it is precisely through it that children’s potential can be seen, and that he hopes that these children will watch it once when they grow up a little. Also, through the film, the children adopted a part of their native past in an interesting way.
The professor announced the new film “Knight in a linen suit” which will be dedicated to the most famous Šibenik mayor, Ante Šupuk, for which the script has already been prepared.
