Book launch announcement
On Thursday, May 29th, starting at 6:30 PM, the presentation of the book “Stipe Šare and his family in Šibenik” will be held in the multimedia hall.
The book by author Marko Šare (1947 – 2021), a prominent Šibenik resident, historian, bibliophile, one of the founders of the revived Croatian Community in Trieste and grandson of the famous Šibenik entrepreneur from the first half of the 20th century, Stipe Šare, will be presented by the editors, his brother Mladen Šare and Ph.D. Vesna Piasevoli, and the reviewer M.Sc. Milivoj Blažević.
The work, which focuses on the history of the Šare family in Šibenik from their arrival in Šibenik in the first half of the 19th century to the process in 1945 when the family Šare left Šibenik, with an emphasis on Stipe Šare, who marked the life of the city and about whom legends and anecdotes are still alive in Šibenik, was published by Mladen Šare, as a memory of his late brother Marko.
The book was published by the Matica Hrvatska Branch in Šibenik.
