Exhibition opening announcement
This year’s Days of Macedonian Culture in Šibenik bring a rich program dedicated to art, identity and creative dialogue between two cultures. Organized by the Croatian-Macedonian Tangent, under the auspices of the Council for National Minorities of the Republic of Croatia, we announce the opening of the exhibition “Touch of Worlds” by Saša Georgievski.
The grand opening will be on December 2, 2025, in the Centre’s gallery at 7 p.m.
Georgievski presents a cycle of paintings that are permeated with poetics, symbolism and the inner rhythm of life. His works, on the border between dream and reality, invite the viewer on an intimate journey through the human longing for freedom, harmony and a return to nature. At the center of this visual world is a strong female spirit – a motif that the artist interprets as a source of creativity, togetherness and creative joy.
Stylistically, Georgievski builds on the modernist tradition, skillfully combining elements of abstraction and expressionism. Instead of realistic depiction, he emphasizes movement, mood and harmony of colors, creating scenes that pulsate with energy and emotion.
The exhibition “Touch of Worlds” represents a unique opportunity for the audience to experience art that transcends the boundaries of space and time and to join the cultural dialogue that the Days of Macedonian Culture have been successfully nurturing for years.
