We invite you to the opening of the paintings exhibition “Lyrical writings: portraits and landscapes” by Neven Zoričić Liburnus on Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m. in the gallery “St. Nikola Tavelić”.
Neven Zoričić was born in Knin, where he attended primary and secondary school. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. In 1989, he went to Milan where he enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, which he attended for two years and began a long-term collaboration with renowned Milanese architects; Gino Pollini, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsasso, etc. At 2007. realizes the project of the chapel on Lago di Como (Bellagio) where he is also the author of the vast majority of paintings. From 2010 to 2014, he was a professor at the High School of Crafts and Arts “GiuseppeTerragni” – Meda (Milan). From 2014 to 2018, he held a professorial chair for the preparatory degree at the prestigious Milan School of Applied Arts “Castello Sforzesco”.
He returns to his homeland in 2022, where he intensively paints, designs and runs art workshops.
