Exhibition Announcement
We invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Echoes No. 2” (*Odjeci no. 2*) by artist Majda Bikić Salarić on Saturday, May 2nd, at 11:00 AM.
Born in Knin, Majda Bikić Salarić completed her primary and secondary education in Zagreb, where she also pursued studies in English and Italian language and literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
After completing her studies, she worked as an English teacher, teaching both general and business English, and later as a mentor. She left her job in 2010 due to illness. Alongside her medical treatment—and partly inspired by it—she dedicated herself to her inner calling, enrolling in painting and sculpture courses at the City of Zagreb Center for Art Education at Rokov Perivoj, where she remains a student to this day.
During one of her travels, she encountered the ceramics of Pablo Picasso; fascinated and inspired by the work, she enrolled in a ceramics course at the same Center and devoted herself intensely to this new passion.
At this exhibition, the artist will present her paintings and sculptures; the exhibition will be open for viewing until May 16th. Admission is free.
