Exhibition announcement
We invite you to the grand opening of the exhibition ”Portraits of the City” on Friday, August 1st, starting at 7pm in the gallery ”St. Nikola Tavelić” at the entrance to the Interpretation Centre.
This is an exhibition of watercolors by the author Nerica Abdulić Osmančević, born in 1965 in Banja Luka. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, and in 1989 she graduated in the class of Prof. Radovan Tadić on the topic ”Artistic Interpretation of Reality”. After graduating, she worked in educational and pedagogical work in Banja Luka until mid-1992, when she went into exile in Austria due to the war, and continued to work there in the artistic and educational fields, as well as in the graphic arts.
She returned to BiH in 2010, and since 2015 has had the status of a distinguished freelance artist of BiH.
Awards: Werbe Grand Prix of the trade magazine “Tourist Austria”,
“Signum Laudis” Medal (Prospekt Bad Mittendorf),
2nd place for the series of four posters “Lebensräume”, Hohe Tauern National Park, Austria.
