Exhibition announcement
In the Gallery for Temporary Exhibitions “St. Nikola Tavelić” at the Interpretation Centre Civitas Sacra, on October 16 at 6:00 PM, an exhibition of works by Josipa Bašić Guberina entitled “And Šibenik and Me” will be open.
Josipa Bašić Guberina spent her working life (from 1971 to 2013) at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation, University of Zagreb, where she progressed from assistant, research assistant, research associate/docent, senior research associate/associate professor to research advisor/full professor, and full professor with a permanent title since 1999.
In her free time, she is an amateur artist. She attended the Zagreb Art Center for several years. She studied painting with the musician and academic painter Ivan Pika Stančić, and ceramics with the ceramist Dunja Kohn Mirković. For years, she exhibited at group exhibitions of the Zagreb Art Center.
This is her first solo exhibition, and the organizer is the “Juraj Šižgorić City Library” in Šibenik.
