Mislav Režić in Civitas Sacra

Last night, another in a series of concerts was held in the multimedia hall as part of the Šibenik Music Evening in organization of Ivan Lukačić Music School, Šibenik in the 2023/2024 concert season.
The Šibenik audience had the opportunity to enjoy the performances of Mislav Režić, one of the leading Croatian musicians of his generation.
Mislav Režić leads a very active international career as a soloist, member of chamber ensembles and lecturer.
His interest in performing different styles ranging from early to modern music leads him to collaborate with a large number of musicians and ensembles. He is a member and one of the founders of the ensembles Machetes (Netherlands) and Tettix (Greece), which perform contemporary music.
He performs as a soloist and with orchestras in cities throughout Europe and North America, in famous halls and festivals.
He graduated in 2001 at the Art Academy in Split in the class of Goran Listeš. He received his master’s degree at the Dutch Royal Conservatory in The Hague in the class of Zoran Dukić and at the Maastricht College of Music in the class of Carlo Marchione.
He is the winner of a number of national and two international awards at the international guitar festivals in Zwolle in 2002 and Enschede in 2007. He is the artistic director of the chamber music festival Musical Evenings at St. Jerome and lecturer at the International Summer School of Music in Kaštela. He is a member of the jury at international competitions and holds master workshops at music institutions and festivals such as the University of California Santa Barbara, the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, the Academy of Arts in Split, the Nikšić guitar festival, etc. His solo sound carrier “Auburn” dedicated to contemporary guitar music was released in early 2017 for DNA-LABEL.
He is an exclusive artist of the German string manufacturer Hannabach.
