Leggero

“Leggero” is the name of the 17th solo exhibition of the painter Sonja Đurić, which opened last night in the Centre gallery.
It is a cycle of paintings by a contemporary Croatian artist dedicated to the complex motif of the feeling of duality, simultaneous existence and non-existence since ancient times, a feeling that persistently accompanies man, deepening his ever stronger and louder need for calmness, for light, for peace.
Sonja realized a cycle of large formats in oil and acrylic, of significant and challenging dimensions, and thus one part of the exhibition is located in the space of the multimedia hall.
The artist was born in Zagreb, where she lives and creates. He has been engaged in fine art for the last 35 years. She was educated by top professors: prof. Rade Jarak, mag. Nela Gruden, prof. Marija Kokeza Roginić, prof. Ivan Piko Stančić, mag. Ji Suk Baek and prof. Ivan Marković.
The exhibition remains open until the end of September. Free entrance.
