The Queen’s Choice
The book “The Queen’s Choice” by Božena Volić was presented on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in the hall of the Interpretation Centre “Civitas Sacra”.
It is a historical novel based on the author’s interpretation of historically established facts, in which the author through 47 chapters brings us the life story of the last Bosnian queen, Mara Tomašević, and the novel takes place from the throne Bosnian cities to Dubrovnik, Šibenik and Venice during the disappearance of the Bosnian Kingdom – from 1463 to the last known years of Queen Mara’s life.
The book was presented by Zdenka Bilušić, president of the Croatian Matica Šibenik and author, Božena Volić.
