Exhibition of Eva Vukina
The space of the gallery ”St. Nikola Tavelić ” within the Interpretation Centre, was too small at last Thursday for all who wanted to see the exhibition of the young author Eva Vukina.
There are about 30 paintings created on the theme “Croatian saints and the blessed in our nation”, organized by the gallery “Martin Borković” of National Sanctuary of St. Joseph in Karlovac.
The exhibition was opened by the Bishop of Šibenik, Msgr. Tomislav Rogić, and besides him, to all presents spoke also Msgr. Antun Sente, rector of the National Sanctuary of St. Joseph, Fr. Ivan Bradarić, rector of Croatian National Sanctuary of St. Nikola Tavelić, prof. Stanko Špoljarić, art historian and critic, author Eva and Ivan Lukač on behalf of the Interpretation Centre.
The opening of the exhibition is part of a three-day celebration of the great jubilee – 50 years of the canonization of the first Croatian saint, St. Nikola Tavelić, and it was magnified by the song of “Pivači sv. Jakova”.
Admission to the gallery is free, and you can view the exhibition until September 10th.
