H2LO festival
On Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20, the two-day H2LO festival was held for the second year in a memory of the great event when Šibenik received its first healthy drinking water directly from the source on May 12, 1879.
The message of this year’s festival was “Be the change you want to see in the community – act locally, think globally!”, and it was held at different locations in the city, including the multimedia hall of our Interpretation Centre, where was the screening of the film “River blue” about the impact fashion industry on water. The film was followed by an interesting panel on the topic of water, with guest speakers Ante Vrban; world-renowned and multiple award-winning architect from Šibenik, Ph.D. Irena Ateljević; founder of Terra Meera Center for Regeneration, Gordana Goreta; expert manager at the National Park Krka, Franka Baranović; B.Sc. designer and owner of Idearium design studio and Ph.D. Neven Cukrov; scientific advisor at the Ruđer Bošković Institute.
