CLAY & COFFEE — creative workshop for adults
The Civitas Sacra Interpretation Centre, in collaboration with MMart – a craft for creative creation and workshops, is launching a cycle of creative workshops for adults that will be held once a month, always on Saturday mornings, in the space of the St. Nikola Tavelić Gallery.
The first in the series is the “Clay & Coffee” workshop, ideal for anyone who wants to experience the process of shaping clay and create their own, usable and unique objects.
Participants learn basic techniques for working with clay and, with expert guidance, shape and paint their works with underglaze paints.
Participants do not take the created objects home immediately — they go through the drying phase, first firing, then glazing and second firing, after which they are ready to be picked up in full glory.
The workshop is held in a relaxed and creative atmosphere, with coffee, juice and a sweet-savory snack.
