Film about Nikola Tavelić
The preview of the HTV documentary “Nikola Tavelić – 50 years of holiness” was held last night in the multimedia hall of the Interpretation Centre.
This solemn act was attended by the Bishop of Šibenik Tomislav Rogić, General Vicar of the Diocese of Šibenik, Msgr. Marinko Mlakić, as well as the screenwriter and editor of the film Neno Kužina, the director Davor Borić Bubi, the editor Davorka Feller, and the editor of the HTV Documentary Program Vladimir Brnardić.
The word of greeting to those gathered was given by the rector of the National Shrine of St. Nikola Tavelić, Fr. Ivan Bradarić.
The editor of the film, Neno Kužina, got the idea for the film during the shooting of “Šibenik Prayer” in 2018, and one of the main initiators is Fr. Ivan Bradarić.
In a brief review of the film itself, he said it was a pilgrimage from Jerusalem where St. Nikola died as a martyr, to Šibenik, where people pray to him in the Croatian National Sanctuary.
The film was shown as part of the preparation for the celebration of the great jubilee on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the canonization of the saint and it will be shown on HTV1 on Sunday, June 21, starting at 9:06 p.m. The replay will be available to watch on Monday, June 22 on HTV2 at 10.36 a.m.
