Announcement of CoserveUs Festival Šibenik
CoserveUs Festival Šibenik – International congress and stone conservation-restoration workshops that will be held in Šibenik from September 26 to 28, 2024.
The organizers of the congress are the Society for the Preservation of Šibenik Heritage “Juraj Dalmatinac”, the Croatian Restoration Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts in Split.
The partners of the congress are the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb and the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and the sponsor is the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
The aim of this congress and workshop is to present to experts and the general public the previous work on the restoration of Šibenik’s heritage and an example of successful cooperation between various institutions and the Society, and to involve pupils and students in heritage conservation projects.
The congress will be held in the Civitas Sacra Interpretation Centre, but also at locations in the old center where will be held renovation of portals.
The organization invites all interested citizens to learn more about the restoration of valuable architectural details on the spot.
